Remove the front grille cover (A).
|
|
|
|

If necessary, remove the front bumper upper duct (A).
|
|
|
|

Remove the screws (A), the clips (B), and the bolts (C) securing
the front bumper (D).
|
|
|
|
2.
|
Pull out the front bumper (A) from the side spacer (B). Repeat
this step on the opposite side.
|
|
|
|
3.
|
With the help of an assistant, pull out both sides of the front
bumper (A) from the upper beam (B).
|
|
|
|
4.
|
With the help of an assistant, remove the front bumper (A).
|
|
|
|

For some models: Remove the front bumper absorber (A).
|
|

1.
|
Disconnect the connector (A).
|
|
2.
|
Lift the tab (B) to release the lock.
|
|
3.
|
Remove the outside air temperature sensor (C).
|
|

|
Dip the sensor in ice water, and measure the resistance. Then
pour warm water on the sensor, and check for a change in resistance.
|
|
2.
|
Compare the resistance reading between terminals No. 1 and No.
2 of the outside air temperature sensor with the specifications
shown in the graph; the resistance should be within the specifications.
|
|
3.
|
If the resistance is not as specified, replace the outside air
temperature sensor.

Install the outside air temperature sensor (A).
|
|
2.
|
Connect the connector (B).
|
|
|
|

|
For some models: Install the front bumper absorber (A).
|
|
|
|

|
With the help of an assistant, install the front bumper (A).
|
|
|
|
2.
|
With the help of an assistant, install both sides of the front
bumper (A) to the upper beam (B).
|
|
|
|
3.
|
Install the front bumper (A) to the side spacer (B). Repeat this
step on the opposite side.
|
|
|
|
4.
|
Install the screws (A), the clips (B), and the bolts (C) securing
the front bumper (D).

|
|
|

|
Install the front bumper upper duct (A).
|
|
|
|
2.
|
Install the front grille cover (A).
